ជួយគ្នា កាត់បន្ថយរថយន្ត នៅភ្នំពេញ
Help us to prevent more cars in Phnom Penh

  • Green City
  • Clean City
  • Our dream City

If We’ve been Cycling, riding or driving to work recently, we’ve probably thought to ourself that the traffic in Phnom Penh just keeps getting worse. So we really need to do something about this to help to develop our city our country our Cambodia.

However, the Ministry of Transport estimates there are somewhere in the vicinity of 375,000 registered passenger vehicles in Cambodia. New cars are being registered at a rate of 80 per day and most of these are, of course, in Phnom Penh. Makes you think twice about heading down on 271 street, Russian, Norodom, Mao Se Tung or Monivong Boulevard at 7:00AM, 11:00 - 1:00PM and 5:00pm, you'll find out the truth, or just look on both  hands side of street that you on now and count those cars, to see how many they are.

Most of the Lexus’s on the roads are RX 300/330s, Rang Rover, Tundra and the larger LX 570’s which are an oft targeted symbol of derision for being ostentatious, road hogging and aggressively driven.

Car is often the first major purchase for middle and upper class Cambodian. Cars bring face. Cars are sexy. Cars are visible. Most are Camrys, Corollas, Land Cruisers, 4-Runners, Tundra, Hiluxes, Rang Rover, BMW, and RAV-4s of any year series. the super wealthy who are responsible for buying up the brand-new Lexus LX 570s as well as Range Rovers, BMWs, and increasingly even Rolls-Royce and Ferrari.

Brand-new luxury vehicles are pouring in from the US, the Middle East and Europe. Of course and unfortunately, most of these large, shiny, new luxury vehicles are destined to sit in Phnom Penh traffic.

Let's us try to support more charity activities:
Let's us try to walk or cycle to work/home:
Let's us try to develop more green in our city:
  • Plant more trees and grow more gardens.
  • Stop chopping off branches of trees.
Let's us keep our city clean:
  • No more cars parking along the roads.
  • We should have Street Cleaning Vehicle to wipe or take away all dust on the roads.

Dear all readers,
Please kindly help to share or contribute your idea of how we could help to develop our city, our country, our Cambodia.
Please share/spread it out to your friends and we hold hands in hands develop our country together.
We love you Cambodia/Cambodian.
